Peltigeraceae
Peltigera didactyla Growth type foliose Chemical results negative Found on recently disturbed ground; roadsides, banks, quarries, dunes, urban waste ground. Host to various lichenicolous fungi including Corticifraga fuckelii and Illosporium carneum Small thallus, tomentose lobes ascending when fertile. Young lobes with patches of pale soredia, disappearing when apothecia formed. Lower surface with distinct raised veins and simple rhizines. Spores 3-7 septate, 40-75 x 3.5-5 µm.
