Cordieritidaceae Unguiculariopsis lesdainii Growth type lichenicolous Photographs on Myriolecis dispersa (Lecanora dispersa) Scattered distribution, usually on the thallus of Lecanora saligna. Slightly immersed or superficial apothecia are reddish to dark grey-brown, +/- closed then cupulate. Margins +/- irregular with straight whitish hairs without an apical hook. Exciple reddish-brown, the pigment not dissolving in K. Asci 27-34 x 4-6 µm, spores hyaline, simple, 5-7 x 2-2.5 µm. Micrographs below.
